Vimba Warta Civil and Mining Pty Ltd (Vimba Warta) is an Indigenous company that offers cost effective and productive labour hire solutions in regional and remote South Australia. Vimba Warta is specifically focused on the development of Indigenous men and women to promote long term, meaningful employment.
Vimba Warta is currently contracted to provide labour hire solutions to the BHP Olympic Dam operations and has also been successful in completing local civil work in the Port Augusta region.
With regular information sessions conducted in the far north of South Australia, Vimba Warta actively promotes exciting employment opportunities to local Indigenous communities. In addition to these information sessions, Vimba Warta strives to help local Indigenous men and women gain important and valuable skills to better improve their chances in securing long-term employment.
